Daniel Patterson
Educational Technology Consultant

My career in education started in Chicago Public Schools as an Instructional Technology Coordinator teaching students through various technology platforms in the K-8th grade band. At the time, I had recently finished my undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University majoring in Political Science. I was not on a mission to be a teacher but technology and teaching it, just so happen to have a calling on me. Prior to the position, I had completed two terms as a legislative intern for Tennessee General Assembly. During my internship, I had the opportunity to learn about the leaderships responsibilities of legislators as well as develop legislative process skills, bill analysis, constituent work, research, and adopt to the legislative schedule. My legislature served on the states education committee and chair of the subcommittee on Higher Education so for me, education just seemed INFINITE.
